THE SECRET PAINTING OF EUGÈNE DELACROIX

In December 1961, a Belgian art collector bought a painting in an art gallery in the city of Bruges. This painting depicted a lion hunt. After a thorough cleaning requested by the buyer and carried out by the Bruges restorer Cornil Leegenhoek, the signature of Eugène Delacroix appeared in the lower right corner.
